Eyelet Curtains offer a simple contemporary look where the Curtains are mounted directly onto the Curtain Pole with no need for hooks or rings.  For wider windows you would need to use a decent Curtain Pole because you cannot add extra brackets, just one at each end and one in the middle.  For the same reason you cannot have a pair of Eyelet Curtains on a Bay Window since the Bay Window Curtain Pole requires corner supports.
You can however use Eyeletted Curtains on a Bay Window if you fit four curtains, you just need to be a little careful with your calculations as to where each Curtain is hanging and how far it needs to travel in whichever direction. We can use a “Blackout” lining for your bedroom curtains, but there will still be some lightwash from the top of the curtains – although the “blackout” effect acheived is likely better with Eyelets than standard Curtain Rings on a Pole, since the curtains sit higher. Eyeletted Curtains will not give Total Blackout (we do have other options) but “Blackout” lining will certainly give a dimming effect. What level of “blackout” would you require in your bedroom ?

In a bedroom scenario the Shutters combined with a “Blackout” lining would provide a considerable blackout effect (but Not Total Blackout)
